Ive been hair dressing for 33 years and I love hairdressing with a passion!!!
Over the past 33 years of hairdressing, I’ve acquired some great clients and I definitely consider them as my friends. I love transforming a clients look, It’s so rewarding!! Its amazing how a colour & cut can bring out their best features, making them look younger and more fashionable.
My favorite things in hair dressing is meeting people and learning about them and listening to their wonderful life stories.
My best hairdressing experience was meeting Ian Moss from Cold Chisel in our Salon and then he invited me to his concert.

I’ve been hairdressing for 7 years now and I’ve loved every moment of it! My favourite part of being a hairdresser is meeting lots of different people and hearing their storys. I love to have a good chat with my clients. Coming into the salon should be like they’re coming to see a friend and its just a bonus to have your hair done.
I love mens hair styling and big colour changes. I travel to Sydney every year for Hair Expo for my inspiration. I really like to reinforce what I’ve learnt at Hair Expo in the salon because it gives a unique touch to everyones style.
My dream for the future would be to train young apprentices in our training academeys so that they can become the best stylists that they can be. I would also like to participate in Mental Health Week in which people can come and have their hair done for next to nothing to improve their views on life. If i can make anyone feel better about themselves then all of the years training and working have been worth every second.
My favourite colour and styling product brand would be GOLDWELL! They have some beautiful colours that you cannot get with any other colour range. Their styling products are beautiful! One styling product that I cant live without, would definitely have to be the Just Smooth Diamond Gloss Shine Spray from the Stylesign range in GOLDWELL! This product is beautiful on all types of hair and I use it on my clients every time!!

My best experience in being an apprentice and entering hair competitions!! I came first in mens cut and colour and I also came runner up in ladies cut and colour. I also had the pleasure being in the workshop with Tracy Huges and Robert Barvano.

I’ve been hairdressing for 17 years now & 3 years ago I joined the MÉLANGE Hair & Beauty team! In the hairdressing industry you are always meeting new people and gaining new cliental. I love seeing my clients love their hair and feeling good about them selves. It’s such a satisfying feeling when you know you have made a difference to someone’s day and you can see them feeling good and confident about their hair and themselves!

My favourite aspect of hairdressing is colouring! I throughly enjoy creating new colours and seeing the end result. And knowing that I helped achieve my clients goal with their hair, is rewarding. Trying new products is a favourite of mine, but the ones I can’t live without are the ELEVEN Miracle Hair Treatment, Keep Me Blonde Shampoo and in our GOLDWELL range the Kerasilk Rich Protective Oil & the Rich Repair Serum.

Im the junior of our team at MÉLANGE, I joined our excellent team in August 2015 & so far I’m loving it!!! Becoming a hairdresser has always been a big dream of mine, I love the feeling of making clients feel good about themselves and their hair. Seeing someone happy makes my day and I feel I can do that through hair!

My best experience as a junior so far, has been meeting all my new clients and everyday I’m constantly learning new skills around the salon. The things I’m looking forward to, is gaining more personal cliental and to become a senior stylist, which won’t be hard for me, as I’m learning from an amazing team!!
